METHOD
We nurture the whole dancer by instilling in our students a strong work-ethic, cameraderie
& fun! Dancers are encouraged to set their own goals and to work hard to achieve them.
Instruction focuses upon proper form and technique, with an eye toward improved
flexibility, stamina and injury prevention. The learning environment is always creative and
challenging.

LEVELS
Classes are separated out according to competition, or equivalent skill, level: New &
Continuing Beginner, Novice & Prizewinner and Championship. Class placement is
determined by a dancer's competition level in hard-shoe , although dancers choosing not
to compete but displaying an appropriate level of skill may be placed accordingly at the
instructor's discretion. Questions regarding class placement should be directed to an
instructor.

improve the dancers' technique, followed by floor work on choreography. At each level
dancers are introduced to progressively more complex steps, each building upon the last.
Once new students learn their soft shoe dances they begin hard shoe, generally within the
first term. Floor work includes the learning and perfecting of solo, group and performance
material, with choreography changing periodically to keep the dancers growing.

REGISTRATION
There is an annual registration fee of $25 for an individual or $35 for a family. Transfers
from other Irish dance schools certified with An Coimisiun may also be subject to an
additional $25 transfer fee per dancer payable to the Western US Regional Council.
Registration is not complete until you return your registration form including medical
information and the consent & release. Please contact a customer service representative
for details.

choose not to use automatic payment may pay by cash in three month increments - speak
to a customer service representative to make arrangements.
Tuition for New and Continuing Beginners is $50 per month. Tuition for Novices,
Prizewinners and Champions is $75 per month for the term. Discounts for multiple clsses
are available. Please make all checks payable to An Daire Academy.
The returned check fee is $35. If tuition is not paid at the beginning of the month, the
student will be unable to participate in class until accounts are brought current. Students
taking a break from lessons must submit their intent to do so by the 5th of the month to
suspend automatic payment for the following month. Students re-enrolling following a
break not for medical reasons will be subject to a re-registration fee.
